We are moving just a few buildings down to 26060 Acero, Suite 124.  It is a beautiful office that has been remodeled this year with an amazing comfortable lobby which you will love.  From my office just drive all the way down and it is the last building on your right hand side.  We will be there to greet you!  We will be open on Tuesday, January 11th ready to give you a healthy start for the New Year.  Please call (949) 581-6543 to schedule your appointments.

Healthy Eating And Fitness Tips For The New Year

Avoid eating sugar, caffeine, and chemical foods.  Focus on natural forms of food.

Bring a bag of fresh fruit and cut up vegetables to snack on during the workday.  Learn to take health breaks instead of coffee breaks.

Exercise at least 3 times a week.  Pick something that you enjoy doing!  Bring a pair of comfortable shoes to walk during your lunch break.

Practice deep breathing exercises you can do even when sitting in traffic on the freeway or sitting at your desk at work.

Keep a water bottle on your desk to drink throughout the day.

During breaks do shoulder shrugs and neck stretches.  Take mini stretch breaks throughout the day.

Keep a positive mental attitude.  Look in the mirror every morning and tell yourself I look good, feel good and am going to have a great day!

Pamper yourself.  Taking a bath with epsom salts will act as a natural muscle relaxer and reduce stress.

Golf Balls... They Are Not Just For Golfing Anymore

I know that golf is such a popular sport but I bet you never thought of using your golf balls to help relieve stress in your body.  Let me tell you how.  Have you ever had a foot massage?  Doesn't it feel wonderful.  Imagine getting a foot massage everyday while you are working and it won't cost you a dime.  Sound too good to be true?
Foot reflexology was discovered many years ago and there are points on the bottom of your feet that represent each part of your body, see the diagram below.  If you went in for a foot reflexology treatment, they would do pressure points on the bottom of your feet to allow your body to function better.  This can be done with two golf balls.  Take your shoes off, sit down, and put a golf ball under each foot, begin rolling the golf ball under your foot.  You will feel some really sore points and that means you have energy blockage in that area.  Push down on the sore points to work them out and roll over the entire foot and arch.  This can be done at your desk while you are on the phone or using the computer.  While you are at home relaxing and de-stressing.  I even take them with me when I travel on the plane... just put them in a sock to prevent them rolling around.
Warning: remember not to use during takeoff or landing because you may never see those golf ball again!

Benefits of reflexology include:
  • Deep neurological relaxation
  • Pain reduction
  • Amelioration of symptoms for health concerns
  • Rejuvenation of tired feet
  • Improvement in blood flow

Take the golf ball challenge and try this for 7 days... you will be glad you did
