Let's Honor My Mother Rose
I would like to take a moment to honor my mother Rose who is so near and dear to my heart.  First of all, I was born on Mother's day, so I am her absolute favorite (Please don't tell my sisters that!).

This Mother's day we will be celebrating together.  I am very fortunate to have her working at my office for the last 20 years.  She is the "Mission Viejo Mom", mother to all and I am deeply grateful that she is such an integral part of the practice.  Everyone loves Rose and I know why, she has a heart of gold and a love for others and truly enjoys working at the office and being part of such a great team and seeing people get healthier every day

A Mother Is...
A Mother is life at its best.  She understands.  She goes a million miles out of her way just to lend a hand.  She brings you smiles when a smile is exactly what you needed.  She listens, and she hears what is said in the spaces between the words.  A mother cares, and she lets you know you're in her prayers.

A mother can guide you, inspire you, comfort you, and light up your life.  A mother understands your moods and nurtures your needs.  She lovingly knows just what would help make things right.

A mother always knows the perfect thing to do.  She can make your whole day just by saying something that no one else could have said.  Sometimes you feel like the two of you share a secret language that others can't tune in to.

When your feelings come from deep inside and need to be spoken to someone you don't have to hide from, you share them with your mother.  When good news comes, she is the first one you turn to.  When feelings overflow and tears need to fall, a mother helps you through it all.

A mother brings sunlight into your life.  She warms your life with her presence, whether she is far away or close by your side.  A mother is the most wonderful gift that brings happiness, and a treasure that money can't buy.

Being a Mother is one of God's greatest gifts.
May you realize just how special you really are and how much you are appreciated.

Wishing you a Happy Mother's Day!

Mother of 5 Success Story on Weight Loss
My name is Elizabeth and I am a mother of 5, my youngest being 10 years old.  I have been frustrated with my weight for years and I have never been able to lose the baby weight for the last 10 years, nothing has ever worked for me so I gave up.  I started on Dr. Maloof's 21 day purification one week ago and I have to tell you that I am so excited about this program.  First of all I have already lost 7 pounds in one week and that is truly a miracle for me!  The best part of this program is that I am never hungry which really surprised me and I feel better and have more energy.  I encourage any mom, who has been discouraged, to try this program and I am looking forward to seeing my progress over the next few weeks.

Stress Tips For Mothers
HELPFUL HINTS TO REDUCE STRESS

  1. Take time for yourself. Spend a few minutes alone just to relax everyday.
  2. Avoid eating sugar, caffeine, and chemical foods. Focus on natural forms of food.
  3. Bring a bag of fresh fruit and cut up vegetables to snack on during the day. Take health breaks instead of coffee breaks.
  4. Exercise at least 3 times a week. Pick something that you enjoy doing! Walking is easy, simple and fun. Take walks with your kids!
  5. Practice deep breathing exercises you can even do when sitting in traffic on the freeway or anytime throughout the day especially when you are feeling stressed.
  6. Keep a water bottle with you to drink water throughout the day.
  7. During breaks do shoulder shrugs and neck stretches. Take mini stretch breaks throughout the day.
  8. Keep a positive mental attitude. Look in the mirror every morning and tell yourself I look good, feel good and I am going to have a great day!
  9. Pamper yourself. Take a bath with epsom salts, which acts as a natural muscle relaxer to reduce stress. You can even just soak your feet.
  10. Roll golf balls under your feet and have a nice foot reflexology massage that will stimulate every part of your body.

Begin now, not tomorrow, not next week, but today to make this day count. Remember yesterday is gone and tomorrow may never come. Today is all we have.
