Blood pressure is the force or pressure
on the walls of the arteries as the heart pumps blood through them. The heart is a very powerful pump and
does more physical work than any other organ in the body! It beats 100,000 thousands times a day
as it pumps 4,300 gallons of blood through 60,000 miles of blood vessels to
supply each and every tissue cell with nutrition and oxygen. The maintenance
of blood pressure is primarily controlled by the nervous
system. Therefore,
any disturbances or interference with the body's nervous system could affect the
blood pressure. This is why
chiropractic is so effective in the maintenance of normal blood
pressure.
Other contributing factors to high blood
pressure are obesity, poor diet that can clog up the blood vessels to constrict,
and lack of proper rest and exercise.
The chiropractic approach to help the body normalize the blood pressure,
besides counseling the above factors, is to "tune-up" the body's nervous system
with gentle chiropractic adjustments.
In the early stages of hypertension, there may not be any symptoms that
are readily apparent, so periodic blood pressure checks are advised. The best time to prevent strokes and
heart attacks is before they happen!
Dr. Maloof has helped people lower their blood pressure through her
special techniques as well as specific nutritional supplementation. If you know of
someone suffering with hypertension, please suggest that they call our office
for an appointment now.
That the best classroom in the world is
at the foot of an elderly person.
That just one person saying to me,
"you've made my day!"; makes my day.
That being kind is more important than
being right.
That under everyone's hard shell is
someone who wants to be appreciated and loved.
That the Lord didn't do it in one
day. What makes me think I
can?
Money doesn't buy
class.
That sometimes all a person needs is a
hand to hold and a heart to understand.
That the older I get, the smarter my
parents become.
That love, not time, heals all wounds.
I have written a book "Renew Your Heart One Beat At A Time" which contains quotes on Love, Relationships, Dreams, Giving, Health, Success ...and more.
