Stress Tips for the Holidays

Shop early or late and avoid the holiday shopping rush, you will be less stressed and save time.

Limit your sugar and caffeine intake, this will help keep your immune system high, and decrease your stress.

Make sure you continue to make the time to exercise. It is really important more than ever even if just for short amounts of time.

Practice Thanks-Living everyday. Be grateful for everything you have and that will keep you in a positive state of mind.

Rehydrate your body. Drink lots of water, especially when traveling on a plane. One cup for every hour of flying. Normally drink 8-10 glasses of water per day.

Party Eating Tips for the Holidays

Remember never go to a party really hungry. Some people starve all day and then overeat at the party, this is a big no no.

Never socialize around the food, you will have the tendency to pick at the food and eat more without even realizing it.

Always put your food on a plate so you can see how much you are really eating.

Avoid extra alcohol calories. Limit yourself to one or two alcoholic beverages. Then you can have sparkling water with a splash of cranberry juice to make a spritzer.

Remember to laugh, socialize, and have fun. Allow people to be the focus of the party instead of the food.

Dr. Maloof’s Toy Drive for 2004

Help Santa fill his sleigh with toys for critically ill and sheltered children this Holiday Season. Dr. Maloof is working with the charity Share the Spirit which has been providing toys for these children for the last 30 years.

This is a great opportunity to give this season. Dr. Maloof will be collecting toys at her office. I always enjoy giving back to the community. I am also offering a free $100 Gift Certificate for an initial Chiropractic, Neurological, Orthopedic, and Nutritional Examination for those who donate toys.

Thank you in advance for helping out with such a worthy cause. Dr. Maloof will be going to CHOC Hospital on Christmas Eve with Santa and Mrs. Claus to help deliver the toys.

Special Offer for the Holidays

I have had a Living Air Purifier at my office running 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, for the last 10 years. Just this small box covers up to 3000 square feet and keeps the air pure all the time.

I even have one at my home and the dust doesn’t build up(less cleaning).

This has been the best investment I have ever made and makes a huge difference in the quality of air we breathe. I highly recommend it to anyone especially if you suffer from allergies, have cats or dogs at your home. This really works!

For the month of December I will be giving a $50 Discount for the Living Air Classic Purifier. Give the gift of clean, pure, air.

You may call the office for details and more information.

Dr. Maloof, Rose and Maureen wish you a most blessed holiday season. We look forward to an outstanding 2005. Remember to relax and enjoy every moment.

Love, Blessings, and Peace to all.
