Healthy Back Tip
Every morning before getting out of bed do your lower back stretches and exercises. Bring your knees into your chest and then gently roll your legs from side to side. This will prevent lower back injuries since your back is weakest in the morning.
Then ask yourself: Does my lower back feel more flexible today?
Healthy Eating Tip
Do not eat any food after 7PM. You should eat your largest meal at noontime and eat lighter in the evening. You will burn more calories during the day. At night you are more inactive and will have the tendency to gain weight by eating late at night.
Ask yourself: How can I enjoy my evening without snacking late at night?
Stress and Energy Tip
Practice Deep breathing exercises. Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth using your diaphragm. This can be done in the car, at work, or at home. Take 10 deep breaths three times a day. This will reduce stress, increase your energy, and relax your muscles.
Ask yourself: Did I take my 30 deep breaths today?
Take a walk for 10 minutes in the morning and then again after dinner. You may even want to take a short walk after lunch. Exercising throughout the day increases your metabolism, reduces stress, and increases your overall sense of well being.
Ask yourself: Have I taken my walks today?
Everyday in every way I am feeling better, stronger, healthier, and happier. You can repeat this throughout the day while taking your walks, or driving in the car. Your brain and body believe what it is told so start feeding your mind with positive thoughts.
Ask yourself: Have I been giving myself positive affirmations today?
